K-Tec scrapers have many uses for earthmoving projects across a variety of soil types and are specifically designed for moving large quantities of earth. These tractor and scraper box combinations at VAS are productive and efficient for a multitude of earth moving projects.

The Caterpiller D9T is our primary dozer used for push loading scrapers and stripping topsoil over short distances due to its power and pushing capacity. Fitted with GPS machine control, it can also be used for cutting and filling over short distances, as well as spreading soil and trimming batters.

Quick loading, high travel speeds and the ability to load and dump on the run, yield fast cycle times, allowing Cat Wheeled Motor Scrapers to consistently deliver high productivity at the lowest cost per cubic meter.

Self sufficient push-pull motorscrapers, avoiding the need to push load with a dozer. The H Series designs change the way wheel tractor-scrapers look, run and ride—and increase their capabilities to move material at the lowest cost per cubic meter.

The Caterpiller D6T models are our secondary dozers, primarily used for spreading and compacting soil in layers with Bomag BW6 towed rollers to meet the specification. Fitted with GPS machine control, we also use our Cat D6T's for trimming the finished surfaces to a fine tolerance.

Our Caterpiller 16G motor grader mainly works in conjunction with our motor scraper fleet to maintain haul roads and trim up cut and fill areas. By keeping haul roads smooth and free of ruts, our scrapers are able to operate far more safely and efficiently. It can also be used to carry out trimming to very fine tolerances over large areas, when fitted with GPS machine control.
